Open HWPX files
한국어Your file never leaves this device. Open .hwp and .hwpx files right in your browser with nothing to install, then save them as PDF.
HWPX is the newer version of the HWP format, and many Korean government documents now come this way. It opens here just like .hwp.

.hwp and .hwpx files
How it works
- If the file name ends in .hwpx, it's this format.
- Password protected files open once you enter the password.
- Save as PDF to share it with people who can't open HWPX.
Why no upload
HWP is the document format Korean schools, offices and government agencies use. These files often carry names, addresses and ID numbers. Converter sites upload your file to their server. This page downloads the reader into your browser and opens the file on your device.
Once the file is open, viewing and saving as PDF keep working even if you go offline.
Combining files and ad-free viewing come with a subscription. Opening files and saving as PDF are free.
